As a licensed independent clinical social worker, Landen has provided mental health service for over a decade. In his private practice, Landen works with adults, teens and children, with a foundation of warmth, curiosity, and dependability, as well as clinical expertise. He can treat anxiety and depression, act as a support during life transitions, be present during periods of grief, talk comprehensively about relationships, explore areas of identity, build self-esteem, and address challenges with behavior. Landen also offers parenting support and consultation with schools. Landen is LGBTQIA+ friendly and values diversity. Landen is prepared to partner with you and collaborate on your journey ahead. His previous employment includes a pediatric practice affiliated with Boston Children's Hospital, various special education schools, and several residential treatment programs and outpatient clinics. Landen is equipped with a Master of Social Work degree and trauma certificate from Boston University. He implements interventions rooted in training and theory that are evidence based, client-focused and trauma informed. Landen is skilled in cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness skills, motivational interviewing, expressive art and play based interventions. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in art education from Massachusetts College of Art, Landen implements visual art as a form of healing with those sharing this interest. He works with patients out of network ($200 per session) and offers receipts for submission to insurance where out of network benefits apply.
